D’Andrea Morning

D’Andrea J. Morning serves as the Vice President, Corporate Compliance (Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer) for Grady Health System, one of the largest public academic healthcare systems in the United States.  Prior to joining Grady Health System, D’Andrea was a Senior Associate at Alston & Bird LLP in the firm’s Health Care Practice Group for six years.  Ms. Morning received her undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from Xavier University of Louisiana in 2004.  She received her Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Mercer University School of Law in 2007.

 

She is certified in health care compliance (CHC) and health care privacy compliance (CHPC). Her professional memberships include the American Health Lawyers Association, Health Care Compliance Association, the National Bar Association, the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics, American Society for Health Care Risk Management, and the Georgia Academy of Healthcare Attorneys, where she served as President of the Academy.  D’Andrea is an active community volunteer.

She served as a Board Member and Secretary of The Center for Black Women’s Wellness, Board Member of her church and a founding Board Member and President of the nonprofit organization, 4 Black Girls, Inc.   Ms. Morning is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.  She enjoys traveling, music festivals and concerts, and cooking.
