If you would like to help

Make a difference in the life of a girl please consider applying to become a mentor.

4BG is looking for mentors who are seeking an opportunity to positively influence and impact the lives of young ladies through an established and consistent mentoring relationship.

Ashanti Williams- 4bg parent

We have been apart of the 4BG family since it’s inception in 2015. It’s nice to have my daughter not only surrounded by 4 successful women of color, in a field in which she some day dreams of joining but also in an environment that reiterates the life teachings that we try to instill within her at home. Each activity, field trip or lesson the Mentors arrange for the girls are well thought out and are experiences in which each girl can feel empowered, encouraged and have exposure so they too can become confident young women of color. My daughter genuinely enjoys 4BG, the comradery amongst the Mentors and the Mentees, the meetings and definitely the field trips.

We will forever be apart of 4BG and when my younger daughter is old enough, she’ll definitely become a member as well.

4bg has changed my  in many ways. I was given the opportunity to meet many successful black women that set me up with connections that will last me for the rest of my life and I have made friends that I will stay in touch with through college

Ut elit tellus, luctus nec ullamcorper mattis, pulvinar dapibus leo.My daughter started with 4BG from its inception, as a middle schooler. The intellectual interaction, the social engagement, and the character building that she continues to experience from 4BG has truly been a blessing. 4BG is committed to life long learning and mentorship with our girls. D’Andrea invited my daughter initially to be a part of 4BG, however, each mentor has had a phenomenal impact on her. As a result of our being a part of 4BG, we recently completed a tour of a few colleges out of state thanks to Jamila. This is one example of how each mentor is vested in all mentees. Each month my daughter looks forward to time with 4BG, because they are much more than another group, they are a part of our village. They have great expectations of their mentees and work hard to ensure their success. These last years have been amazing, and we are looking forward to the future. Thank you ladies for your investment!
P.S. They will spoil the girls too…
